A brilliant mountain biking and camping weekend in the Boggs Mountain Demonstration Forest (north of Calistoga) with the Bay Area Outdoor Adventure Club:
Last ski weekend for the season with the Bay Area Outdoor Adventure Club – in costume at
Squaw Valley USA (“Home of the 1960 Winter Olympics…” – rb) and a great very last day at Sugar Bowl.
Yet another most excellent ski weekend with the Bay Area Outdoor Adventure Club – this time at Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley (“Home of the 1960 Winter Olympics…” – rb)
A brilliant day for mountain biking near the coast in Wilder Ranch State Park. We got in a four hour tour around the park: Engelsmann to Wild Boar Trail and Old Cabin Trail, over and down and around Enchanted Loop, up to the Eucalyptus grove and then, after a break, on up Chinquapin Trail to the northern border of the park, back down to the intersection of Enchanted Loop to do Twin Oaks Trail around and then finally up again on Wilder Ridge Trail to finish with Zane Gray Trail. Woo-hoo!
Yet another most excellent ski weekend with the Bay Area Outdoor Adventure Club – at Alpine Meadows and Northstar.
