With extended age, Gaea has developed the habit of no longer using her litter box. Over the last year she’s been regularly peeing in several different locations throughout my home and none of many different remedies has put a stop to it. She’s not only ruined the carpet but damaged some walls and the floor beneath.
But thankfully, in July, Dave and Kathie offered to adopt her and let her live out her remaining days in their back yard. She is of course strictly outdoors now but she does get some attention and has a lot of room to explore. I bought her a little outdoor cat house to sleep in and can visit her occasionally.
