Weekend Visit to Portland
These are photos from a weekend visit to see my brother Glenn and his wife Michele in Portland, Oregon. On Saturday, we took a little bike ride downtown and rode the new gondola.
A Weekend in Montréal
Taking advantage of a work-paid trip to our FileMaker Ottawa office, I made arrangements to fly into Montréal and visit for the holiday weekend before driving over to Ottawa. This also gave me the opportunity to attend all three nights of the Montréal Fetish Weekend. (Here’s some videos from the event.)
Orlando Amusement Parks
Clay and Patty and I went out to Orlando early (ahead of our FileMaker Developer Conference) to visit a few of the amusement parks.

iPhone Campout at FileMaker
On June 29th 2007, Apple shipped the first version of the iPhone and on July 25th every Apple employee (including FileMaker employees) received a free iPhone. A few of us decided to celebrate by “camping out” –– fifteen minutes before the handout!
Classic Car Show
Clay and I went to the Palo Alto Concours d’Elegance at Stanford to see some classic cars… and the Tesla Roadster!
Okay, it was really just to see the Tesla but the classic cars were great too!
