The BugNet door usually remains rolled up and tucked out of the way when not in use. BugNet door fully deployed – it has a magnetic closure down the middle for entering/exiting With our modification to the BugNet, adding magnets along the bottom, it now sits flush even if the van is parked on a slope. I modified the original installation of the BugNet by securing the straps into the door frame. With my modification, the BugNet screen is completely out of the way, leaving a taller opening. We normally leave the rear BugNet tucked under the mattress like this for easy access to the cargo area.
When desired, we can fully close the rear cargo BugNet screen.
