Day 10: Oslo

Oslo, and our last full day in Norway... :-(

After another round trip to the airport to return the rental car (we got in too late to return it last night), we walked over to the marina to take a ferry across to see the Viking Ship Museum and also a museum housing the whole of the Fram arctic exploration ship. It was great to walk around the ship and see the display of equipment and personal items. These two cool museums sapped most of the day but we snagged a bus to get over to and walk around the magical Vigelandsparken (Vigeland Sculpture Park) before sunset. We caught a light rail train back into the middle of the city for dinner and that was it — time to pack for our early morning flight home. Boo!! So much more to see of Norway next time!
