We got some incredible skies that evening...

More gorgeous skies. The smoke is from a couple of large fires. Never did find out if they were normal controlled sugar cane field burnings, or what...

This was wild! At one point the storm edge actually stood off of the island by a few dozen meters for some five minutes. This wall of falling water just held there like some wizard's trick. The rain was coming down so hard that it was quite a sight to watch it churn the surface of the ocean.

We did a bit of snorkeling off of Kent Island and saw many clams embedded in the coral here. Weird looking. Nifty colors too! This is the island's "blowhole" -- it puts out quite a loud deep thud as well.
