This was wild! At one point the storm edge actually stood off of the island by a few dozen meters for some five minutes. This wall of falling water just held there like some wizard's trick. |
The rain was coming down so hard that it was quite a sight to watch it churn the surface of the ocean. |

We did a bit of snorkeling off of Kent Island and saw many clams embedded in the coral here. Weird looking. Nifty colors too! |

This is the island's "blowhole" -- it puts out quite a loud deep thud as well. |
