Breakfast in the Horombo dining hut -- how do you want your eggs, Brad?
To help acclimatize to the
increasing altitude, we spent the day hiking up to and back from
the saddle between Kibo and Mawenzi to stay a second night at
Horombo.
But first, a rest stop with Brad at Zebra Rock.
Hanging out at 4500 m on the saddle between Kibo (behind the clouds) and Mawenzi.
And lo and behold,
Mawenzi...
a most excellent and jagged volcanic peak.
